Pakistan young pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will play for Hampshire cricket for the next year’s T20 Vitality blast competition.
Shaheen will join the Hampshire squad as an overseas player and is expected to play for the duration of the competition.
Shaheen is delighted to be a part of Hampshire cricket and also getting an experience of playing county cricket in England.

Afridi has been an integral part of Pakistan in the last 18 months in all the formats of the game. He was also the second-highest wicket-taker in the ICC Men’s cricket world cup claiming 16 scalps in six matches at an average of 14.63.
