Shahid Afridi becomes chairman of Pakistan’s Disabled Cricket


Karachi: Former flamboyant international all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has become the new chairman of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA), ARY Sports reported. 

According to the details, Afridi accepted the offer from PDCA to become their new chairman and support the disabled cricketers across the country.

In a presser at his residence on Saturday, Afridi signed an MoU with PDCA under the banner of his welfare trust. According to the MoU, Afridi and his foundation assured to work to promote disabled cricket.

“I was really impressed when I first saw disabled cricketers playing at the ICC Academy. It makes me really excited when I see these cricketers putting their blood and sweat in this beautiful game,” said Afridi while talking to the reporters.

“I fully appreciate them and support them at fullest to make them stronger to represent Pakistan at every platform,” he said.
