Pakistan former captain and veteran allrounder, Shahid Afridi has joined Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings as the president.
Karachi Kings’ owner and the CEO of ARY Networks, Mr. Salman Iqbal confirmed signing of the star allrounder through a tweet.

Afridi, who is known as Boom Boom in cricketing fraternity for his flamboyant batting style, played the first two seasons of the glittering league for Peshawar Zalmi.
However, he earlier announced that he has parted ways with his former franchise, Peshawar zalmi, due to the change in vision and goals of the franchise’s owner, Javed Afridi.
Karachi Kings were the third ranked team during the second edition of the PSL under the captaincy of Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara.
