Australia’s former all-rounder Shane Watson has registered himself in the platinum category for the upcoming fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Watson, who represented reigning champions Quetta Gladiators in last season, was the highest run-getter in the same event. He scored 430 runs in 12 games at an average of 43 and a handsome strike rate of 143.81.
On the other hand, New Zealand’s Mitchell McClenaghan, West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran have also registered in the platinum category. England’s Steven Finn has made into the gold category for the extravaganza.
It must be noted here that the registration window for PSL 5 has been closed on November 21. The draft is scheduled for December 6 at National Cricket Academy Lahore.
