Pakistan’s banned opening batsman, Sharjeel Khan has written Pakistan Cricket Board a letter asking for participation in the board’s rehabilitation program.
However, in return, the PCB has asked a public apology from the tainted cricketer for his involvement in spot-fixing to comply with International Cricket Council’s anti-corruption code of conduct, afterwards, he will be allowed by the board to undergo the rehabilitation program.
The flamboyant left-handed opening batsman has constantly denied his involvement in these corrupt activities. He will have accept and apologize for his role in the whole saga before undergoing the rehabilitation program.
Khan will deliver lectures to the budding cricketers, which will help them avoid any sort of involvement in wrongdoings.
He was banned for five years for his involvement in spot-fixing in Pakistan Super League 2017 while representing Islamabad United along with his teammate Khalid Latif.
