Usman Shinwari (3-20) and Mohammad Mohsin (3-34) helped Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) secure a 211-run victory against Central Punjab (CP) in the ninth round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
KP reduced CP to 113-10 after setting them to chase 325 runs. Strong batting line of CP fell prey to strong bowling of KP.
They lost four early wickets on Day 3 after KP declared their second inning for 197-7. Umar Akmal was the highest scorer for CP with 43 runs.
On the other hand, Northern beat Baluchistan by eight wickets to win their match in the ninth round. Ali Sarfaraz (95) and Faizan Riaz (52) lead Northern to chase 192 runs with eight wickets in hand.
The match between Sindh and Southern Punjab ended in a draw at National Stadium Karachi (NSK). Resuming Day 4 with 31 runs lead, SP posted 236 runs for the loss of five wickets.
