Shoaib Akhtar confirms receiving imprecise notice from FIA


Lahore: Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has confirmed that he has received an imprecise and ambiguous Notice from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Akhtar took to Twitter and tweeted. “Just received an absolutely vague, incomprehensible, imprecise and ambiguous Notice from FIA, Lahore. Will issue my response after due consultation with my lawyer.”

The 44-year-old was summoned by the FIA Cyber Cribe on 5th June at 11 AM after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) legal advisor, Mr. Taffazul Rizvi filed the application.

Mr. Rizvi has taken the stance that Shoaib used wrong words regarding him on social media platforms. “Shoaib Akhtar damaged his reputation on social media and he has tried to tarnish his reputable career,” Application holder.

It must be noted that Shoaib after Umar Akmal’s ban, criticized PCB legal department and legal advisor. He also called PCB’s legal advisor Taffazul Rizvi as an inept person.
