Pakistan born Sikandar Raza thanked Sri Lankan cricket team


Harare: Zimbabwe batsman Sikandar Raza has thanked Sri Lankan captain and his teammates for imparting knowledge of the game on their recent tour of Zimbabwe for the two-Test series.

“Massive thanks to Dimuth Karunatratne and his boys from Sri Lankan team,
you guys were great ambassadors of your country and thanks for sharing knowledge of the game with us which we all are very grateful for,” he wrote on Twitter.

The 33-year-old took on Twitter to appreciate the islanders and wished them the best of luck for their next series. “Best wishes for the next series and hope to see you boys soon,” he added.

Sikandar Raza was the player of the match in the second Test in Harare where he scored 72 and 34 respectively in both the innings. Raza in the first innings claimed career-best bowling figure od 7-113.

It must be noted that Sri Lanka won the Test series by 1-0.
