KARACHI: Sindh Police’s Special Security Unit commandos performed drills at the National Stadium Karachi ahead of Pakistan Super League’s final where they reached the stadium from their headquarters within three minutes of the emergency alarm.
National Stadium Karachi is scheduled to host the final of PSL 2018 on March 25th and all the law enforcing agencies have completed their preparations.
Female commandos also participated in the drills of SWAT unit that proved their readiness to tackle any situation during the final of PSL.
“The SWAT unit is ready to face any situation anytime, they have been trained to tackle the toughest of scenarios,” the SSU Commandment, Maqsood Ahmed Memon told ARY News.
“SSU will play a key role in maintaining security during the PSL final, their commandos will be inside and outside the stadium, moreover, they will be on surveillance as well. We will do everything to make the security foolproof.” he went on to say.
