Sindh vs KPK: Top of the table clash in Pakistan Cup

In today’s match of the ongoing Pakistan Cup the Sindh side will be up against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team in a top of the table clash. Sindh are currently ranked number one on the points table with two wins out of their two games whereas the KPK side have secured 2 wins out of their three games. The team winning the match on Wednesday will strengthen it’s position at the top of the table and book a place in the final of the tournament.

The Sindh side have been on a roll and don’t have much to worry about especially in the batting department because their openers have been in red hot form with Khurram Manzoor and Sami Aslam doing the bulk of the scoring and stringing long partnerships. They also have a well balanced bowling attack with the likes of pace spearhead Mohammad Amir and off spinner Bilal Asif picking up wickets at regular intervals and providing breakthroughs at crucial junctures of the match.

On the other hand the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa side will be relying on their experienced players to once again deliver and set the tempo for the entire side. They will be without Younis Khan who has been denied to rejoin the side after the umpiring controversy earlier. Ahmed Shehzad will be the captain of the side and keeping in mind he is in good form the KPK side will be looking towards him to provide a good start at the top once again. Another talented all round player Zohaib Khan has been in great form and was the man of the match in the previous match will be in the spotlight once again.

The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm Pakistan standard time and will be played in Faisalabad.
