Sohail Khan faces fine for violating PCB’s code of conduct

Sindh’s pacer Sohail Khan has been fined 50 percent of his match fees for violating the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s code of conduct during Quaid-e-Azam Trophy fixture at United Bank Limited (UBL) Sports Complex, Karachi.

Khan was charged for a level 2 offence relating to personal abuse of a player, player support personnel, umpire or match referee.

On the other hand, opener Abid Ali also got a warning for showing dissent to umpire’s decision to call him out.

The on-field umpires Khalid Mahmood and Tahir Rasheed took action while match referee Iftikhar Ahmed imposed the decision. Both the players have accepted the sanction.
