Sohail Tanvir fined for Ben Cutting send-off in CPL

Celebrations after sending Australian batsman Ben Cutting back to the pavilion have cost Pakistan’s fast-bowler Sohail Tanvir 15 per cent of his match fee in Caribbean Premier League.

Tanvir was caught on camera while making inappropriate actions towards Cutting after bowling him out with a yorker one ball after being hit for six on his previous delivery.

However, the 33-year-old fast bowler accepted the sanction handed to him by the match referee.

Tanvir’s Amazon Warriors won the T20 contest by six wickets, with 21 balls to spare.

Paceman Tanvir was the highest wicket-taker in last season on CPL and was subsequently retained by the Warriors, for the maximum price of US 160,000 dollar.
