South Africa 78-3 in second India Test


South Africa were 78 for three at lunch on the opening day of the second Test against India at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Saturday.

Opener Dean Elgar was unbeaten on 38 and AB de Villiers, playing his 100th Test, was on 19 after the tourists were sent in to bat and slipped to 45-3.

India won the first Test in Mohali by 108 runs to take the lead in the four-match series.
