South Africa confident going into World T20

Proteas coach Russell Domingo is confident that the South African team will be bringing out their A game in the upcoming World T20 in India and the momentum they have gained from the series win against India in India and also against England will be vital in the mega event.

Before leaving for India Domingo said that, although, they have lost the home T20 series against Australia but they still have a lot of positives to take out of that series and hopefully they will overcome the deficiencies. He added that South African side have some quality players who are best suited for this format.

Keeping in mind the nature and format of the tournament Russell Domingo admitted that chances of slipping up are greater as each team plays it’s opponent only once so it’s important that they keep things simple and handle the pressure accordingly because the team which does that is most likely to succeed.

South Africa will play their first match of the tournament on the 18th of March against England at Mumbai and they will be led by the experienced Faf du Plessis.
