South Africa likely to arrive in Pakistan on January 20

Karachi: South Africa cricket team is likely to arrive on January 20, 2021, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized the series of men’s team, ARY News reported.

According to the sources, the South African team will be on a visit to Pakistan from January to February 2021. The tour will consist of 4 weeks.

South Africa is scheduled to play two Tests and three T20Is. Three venues Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi are reportedly finalized.

Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) security delegation will arrive in Pakistan on November 1 to review the bio-secure bubble and SOPs placed by the PCB.

It must be noted that South Africa last visited Pakistan in 2007 where they played five ODIs and two Tests.

Meanwhile, England can also tour Pakistan for three T20Is before South Africa’s tour after PCB CEO Wasim Khan wrote a letter and invited England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to tour between 13-20 January 2021.
