South African cricketers to undergo self-isolation for 14 days

Johannesburg: South African cricketers have been advised to undergo self-isolation after on their return from India after the Indian government called off the series due to Coronavirus outbreak.

According to the details, Cricket South Africa (CSA)’s Medical Officer Shoaib Manjra had given the advice to put players in self-isolation when they return from India. Now, the board has issued advisory containing safety measures from the widely-spread virus.

South Africa was scheduled to play three ODIs from March 12 to 18. Both teams only played a 50-overs game (which was also abandoned due to rain) and later the tour was called off due to the current situation in the world.

It must be noted here that like other countries, South Africa has also postponed all national and international sports in the country for the next two months.
