Keeping security measures in concern, spectators will only be allowed to carry mobile phones with them in the National Stadium Karachi on March 25th during the final of the Pakistan Super League’s third edition, DIG East briefed on Monday.
Moreover, none of the spectators will be allowed to reach the stadium on personal transports, they will have to commute through shuttle service from different parts of University Road, Kashmir Road and nearby areas.
To ride the shuttles, one has to have original CNIC and match ticket with them. Spectators will be not be allowed to walk to the National Stadium Karachi.
Specific roads will be cordoned off from 11 AM on Sunday, the shuttle service will be activated from 12 PM and transport the spectators to the stadium till 5 PM, almost two hours before the start of the play. The gates of the stadium will be closed at 5 PM.
Spectators will be able to buy eatables from within the stadium.
After the conclusion of the final of PSL 3, spectators will be dropped off to shuttles and then will be able to move towards their respective destinations.
As per Brig. Shahid, all the measures are taken to facilitate people who want to witness the live action of the PSL final. Moreover, the security arrangements are done keeping in view ICC’s standards.
Islamabad’s comprehensive victory takes them through to Sunday’s final. For Karachi to get to their home ground for the grand finale, they will have to beat the winner of Peshawar and Quetta in the eliminator.
