Sportspersons wish ‘Eid Mubarak’


Karachi: Pakistan will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday [May 24] after Shawal’s moon sighted on Saturday. 

Here’s how sportspersons wished ‘Eid Mubarak’ to all Muslims out there:

Former speedster Wasim Akram wished they could celebrate this Eid like they used to do it earlier.

Experienced all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez asked people to make a choice between a simple and Lavish Eid, also requested people to stay safe and pray for everyone.

Pakistan’s top Tennis player Aisma-ul-Haq wished ‘Eid Mubarak’ and prayed this Eid brings happiness and blessings.

Former pacer Shoaib Akhtar urged people to celebrate this Eid as simple as they can to avoid the spread of deadly COVID-19.

Former Test cricketer Mohammad Yousaf prayed for the entire Muslim community while wishing them a happy and safe Eid.

Former international women cricketer Sana Mir also took to Twitter to wish ‘Eid Mubarak’.

International umpire Aleem Dar also wished ‘Eid Mubarak’.
