Pakistan U19 cricket team’s tour to Sri Lanka has been cancelled following a deadly attacks in the island country where more than 300 people were killed.
Pakistan team was scheduled to leave for Sri Lanka on April 30, where both the teams had to play two four-day and three 50-over matches.
A source familiar with the matter says that in the current situation, Sri Lanka is not ready to hold the series.
The tour was tentatively pushed for a week after the terrorist attack and coaching staff has been asked to prepare practice sessions for a week more. However, the Sri Lankan board have decided to cancel the tour due to the current security situations in the country.
