Sri Lanka’s talented middle-order batsman, Shehan Jayasuriya tweeted a picture wearing Pakistan’s World Cup 1992 jersey from his official account and praised the hospitality he saw in the country.
Pakistan hosted Sri Lanka successfully for a three-match ODI and T20I series in Karachi and Lahore respectively. The tour kicked off September 27 and concluded on November 9.
The left-handed batsman thanked Pakistan for the way his team was treated in the country and hope to tour again in the future.
“Thank you Pakistan for the hospitality, safe environment, tight security, and support,” he said. “Hope to come back soon and hope other countries will follow us as well.”

Pakistan won the three-match ODI series by 2-0 and the first game of the campaign was abandoned due to rain. While, Sri Lanka made a tremendous comeback to clean-sweep the top-ranked T20I side.
