Standing committee members protest against PCB Chairman’s absence


Islamabad: The National Assembly Standing Committee on InterProvincial Coordination (IPC) has voiced its protest on the absence of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani.

PCB Chairman has failed to present himself various times in the past too. The committee, under the chairmanship of Agha Hassan Baloch, has warned Ehsan Mani of action if he doesn’t appear before the committee next time.

PCB official present in the meeting said that the chairman has returned to Pakistan from the UK and is under quarantine. He can attend the meeting virtually.

Agha opined that the members who came to the meeting also have precious lives. COVID-19 has affected all of them.

PCB official added that the fact-finding report, highlighting flaws of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six’s bio-secure bubble has been sent to the chairman. Chairman PCB will take a decision after reviewing the report.
