Pakistan’s world T20 campaign came to an end after the team went down against Australia in a pretty one sided encounter at Mohali.

Pakistan’s performance throughout the mega event was pretty mediocre as the batsmen and bowlers failed to deliver when it mattered most.

If we take a look at the batting department, it is clearly evident that the batsman failed miserably. Sharjeel Khan was the top scorer with 112 runs. Only 2 batsman crossed the fifty run mark which was in the first match of the tournament against Bangladesh but after that no batsman crossed that mark.

On the other hand if we take a look at the bowling side it is quite clear that Pakistan’s ace fast bowler Mohammad Amir failed to lead the bowling attack and picked up only three wickets during 4 matches and he went around 8 runs an over. Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Sami accumulated 4 wicket each during the event.

Judging by the way Pakistan team performed we can be rest assured that some changes need to be made if Pakistan cricket team is to improve in the near future.
