London: Six players from Surrey county club of England have self-isolatied themselves after having reported symptoms of COVID-19, Surrey cricket said in a statement.
Surrey cricket didn’t reveal the names of the affected players and also clarified that not all six players have reported symptoms however they have isolated themselves as a precautionary measure.
Six Surrey players are in self-isolation this week as a precautionary measure.
The rest of the squad will continue to train at The Kia Oval.

“While not all six have reported symptoms, proximity means that they have all been instructed to stay at home this week. The six players will not be named at this point,” Surrey said in a statement.
The remaining squad members however will continue to train at the gym, marquee and Ken Barrington Centre at the Oval.
Meanwhile the Sam Curran, Ben Foakes, Ollie Pope who came back from Sri Lanka will join the squad soon. Jason Roy, who head back to England after playing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will also rejoin the squad for training from next week.
