Suspended Ahmed Shehzad attends level-I coaching course


The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) adopted dual policy with players as suspended in doping case, Ahmed Shehzad attended the first day of the two day level-I coaching course arranged by the PCB’s coach education department at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Lahore on Saturday.

The PCB last month suspended Ahmed Shehzad for failing a dope test in a domestic tournament in April-May.

According to the PCB rules, a suspended player cannot take part in any cricketing related activity organized under the name of the PCB.

The former Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Gul, Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Usman Salahuddin, Salman Butt, Mohammad Yousuf and Adnan Akmal also attended the first day of the two day coach education program.

The PCB conducts this course to spread awareness among the players about how to pass their skills to other players.

On first day the players were given a presentation on batting, bowling and fielding skills alongside educating them about how to develop players’ skill.
