‘Tabraiz Shamsi suffered pain back’ confirms South Africa management

Karachi: Tabraiz Shamsi was replaced by Lungi Ngidi for the first Test at the very last moment after a left-arm unorthodox spinner suffered back pain, South African team management confirmed.

In a recent update, South African management said Tabraiz suffered sudden pain back after which he got under the medical team’s assessment.

It must be noted here that South Africa initially planned to go with three spinners including Tabraiz, George Linde, and Keshav Maharaj. But, Ngidi replaced Tabraiz at the very last moment.
