Cricket is a game of gentlemen and it is reflected the best when a legendary player is playing his last game, where he gets utter respect from his teammates as well as opposite team.

Pakistan’s Younis Khan and Misbah Ul Haq are playing last Test of their glorious careers. When Pakistan’s veteran batsman Younis Khan came out to bat on the first day of the third Test, West Indies’ players lined up and gave him a guard of honour out of respect.

In sports, especially in cricket, retiring players get guard of honour, where the teammates along with opposition’s players form a corridor and claps for his achievements, the retiring players passes through the corridor.

Other times, teammates form a corridor by lining up on two sides to make an arc with cricket bats, through which the retiring player walks, it is always an inspiring and emotional scene for the fans of the game.

The third Test between Pakistan and West Indies is special as Pakistan’s most successful Test skipper Misbah Ul Haq and the highest Test scorer for Pakistan Younis, Khan are retiring at the same time.
