These five bowlers to make their presence feel in PSL 4

Just after few hours, Pakistan’s biggest cricketing festival the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kicks off at Dubai International Stadium where a star-studded opening ceremony will take place before the first exciting contest between the reigning champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.

The cricket fans around the world can’t wait to once again witness fun-filled contests of the league. Here are the five bowlers who will be making efforts to make their presence feel during the fourth episode of the extravaganza.

1. Aaron Summers (Karachi Kings)

Aaron Summers is the talk of the town for his immense pace. He showed his power in the BBL bowling at above 150km/h. Summers will play an important role in Kings pace battery as he keeps the ability to thrash the wickets with pace.

2. Fawad Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators)

Pakistan-born Fawad Ahmed moved to Australia where he showed his skills and pursued cricket as a profession. His 70 wickets in 66 T20s is proof that the right-arm leg spinner has the guts to deceive batsmen with variations. He has recently marked his presence in the Big Bash League (BBL)- one of the biggest leagues around the world.

3. Ibtisam Shiekh (Peshawar Zalmi)

The 20-year-old Ibtisam Sheikh has shown his power and skills representing Peshwar Zalmi in the last season of the PSL. Taking five wickets in four matches, Sheikh ensured that he will help his team win matches with showing the magic of his bowling.

4. Mohammad Irfan (Multan Sultans)

The 7ft 1 inch Pakistani pacer Mohammad Irfan is eying a strong performance in the PSL which will help him make a comeback in the national side. Towering Irfan has enough pace to disturb batsmen while his tall height benefits him to pitch the ball short. He has a vast experience in T20 cricket taking 118 wickets in 104 matches.

5. Haris Rauf (Lahore Qalandars)

Haris is a young talented fast bowler who is the pick of Qalandar’s Player Development Program (PDP). His ability to bowl with variations stunned the world’s number one batsman Virat Kohli when he bowled to him in nets during his visit to Australia under PDP.

His stay in Australia for two months would surely help him show his skills on a platform like the PSL from where many young players had made their way to the national team. He has only two wickets in his T20 career so far but he is looking forward to achieving more feats for him.

6. Rumman Raees (Islamabad United)

Rumman Raees is one of the finest bowlers Pakistan have found in recent time. He made his way to the national team by showing his commitment to United in the second season of the PSL. A couple of knee surgeries kept him out of the picture but he is now ready to roar for the red army in the upcoming season.

He has taken 91 wickets in 80 T20s so far and looking forward to add some more wickets to his account. Rumman is also eying a spot in Pakistan’s squad for world cup 2019 by performing in this season.
