The 29-year-old was initially included in the preliminary list of players, but PCB on Monday announced that they have made three changes in the World Cup squad as they have recalled Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Asif Ali.
The left arm pacer recently played a five-match ODI series against England, which the visitors lost 4-0. He picked just two wickets in as many games, which could have led the selectors to prefer the experienced Riaz and Amir.
