'Truth is bitter': Junaid Khan reacts after being dropped from WC squad

Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan posted a picture on his official Twitter handle after being excluded from the 15 member World Cup squad on Monday.

Expressing his disappointment over axing, Khan wrote in his tweet, “I dont want to say anything. Truth is bitter. (Sach karwa hotha hai).”

The 29-year-old was initially included in the preliminary list of players, but PCB on Monday announced that they have made three changes in the World Cup squad as they have recalled Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Asif Ali.

The left arm pacer recently played a five-match ODI series against England, which the visitors lost 4-0. He picked just two wickets in as many games, which could have led the selectors to prefer the experienced Riaz and Amir.
