The Multinational Company Continental Biscuit Limited (CBL) has signed a contract with the most popular franchise of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Karachi Kings to become their titanium sponsor for the oncoming edition of the league.
The owner of Karachi Kings Mr Salman Iqbal and General Managing Director of CBL Mr Mohsin Ali Khan announced their collaboration to make the fourth edition of the PSL successful.
While sharing his thoughts with ARY News, Mr Salman said that it is overwhelming to see international companies taking interest in Pakistan’s only cricketing league.
“As an owner of the Karachi Kings, it is exciting for me to have an international company as a sponsor in the PSL,” he said.
Mr Salman likes the colour combination of TUC’s logo and his team’s jersey. He further said that they will work their titanium sponsor for the promotion of the league.
“We launched our kit earlier and I loved this logo on the front of our team’s jersey,” said Mr Salman who is confident of his team’s performance in the PSL 4.
CBL’s GM thanked Karachi Kings’ owner Mr Salman for taking them on board and said that they will try to promote the PSL at the international level.
“We will contribute with you in future as well to be a part of this league,” he said.
On the other hand, the president of Karachi Kings, Wasim Akram is looking forward to seeing his team lift the title in the upcoming episode of the PSL.
“Players are motivated and we will try to show our dominance in the league,” he said.
Karachi Kings will play their first match against Multan Sultans on February 15 at Dubai International Stadium. The league will commence with a glittering ceremony from February 14.
