The Thailand trio of Jakraphan Premsirigorn, Namchok Tantipokhkul, and Suradit Yong dominated the day three of the UMA CNS Asian Tour Open Golf Championship underway at the picturesque Karachi Golf Club Golf Course.
They ended the two rounds at an aggregate score of 137, seven under par.
The second-ranked Pakistani golfer Mohammad Munir with an aggregate of 138, six under par is placed behind the Thai’s trio.
On the first day, Munir scored 69 each in both the rounds to finish at an aggregate of 138.
Pawin Ingkhapradit of Thailand also managed a score of 138.
Munir while talking to the ARYsports said that competing among some top golfers from around the World is quite tough.
“It is not an easy task to come out of the shelve while competing among some top golfers,” said Munir who hopes for a strong comeback on the last day of the event.
On the other hand, the young leader Ahmed Baig attained the seventh spot due to finishing the second round at an aggregate score of 141, three under par.
Ahmed is expected to make a strong comeback on the last day of the event.
