Pakistan fast bowler Usman Khan Shinwari is confronting with injury problems after series against Sri Lanka.
Usman is unable to continue cricket for six months as doctors have diagnosed fracture in his back and suggested him bed rest.
According to the medical reports, 23-years old pacer has a fracture in his lumbar spine. The PCB medical penal told the board officials that the extent of the injury and time required for the recovery will be ascertained only after the arrival of second scan report.
Usman Shinwari also suffered from similar injury earlier in 2013, and the recovery process took eight months.
Sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board said the 23-year-old left-arm fast bowler sustained back injury during series against Sri Lanka. Sources said the results of the first scan of back injury were not very encouraging, while the second report is expected to arrive on Monday.
Therefore, Coach Mickey Arthur is quite upset as Usman is one of the brilliant bowlers who took five wickets in his second ODI against Sri Lanka and two wickets in T20I and awarded with the man-of-the-match title.
Usman Shinwari is also willing to recover soon as Pakistan will tour New Zealand in January 2018.
