Vince to miss PSL 5 playoffs after being tested COVID-19 positive


Karachi: James Vince of England will miss PSL 5 playoffs in Pakistan after being tested positive for widely-spread COVID-19. 

According to ESPNcricinfo, Vince was asymptomatic when tested COVID-19 positive. The 29-years-old will be in quarantine for the next 10 days, meanwhile, he will undergo a second Test.

It was a second blow to Multan Sultans as earlier Bangladesh’s Mahmudullah also ruled out from PSL 5 playoffs due to being contacted with COVID-19. Joe Denly is likely to replace Vince in Sultans’ squad.

It must be noted here that PSL 5 playoffs are scheduled from November 14 to 17 here at National Stadium. Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings will face each other in first Qualifier on November 14 while Peshawar Zalmi to lock horns in first eliminator on the same day.
