Wahab Riaz will represent Trent Rockets in ‘The Hundred’


KARACHI: National pacer Wahab Riaz has been picked up by Trent Rockets for the inaugural season of England’s new franchise league ‘The Hundred’. 

According to the details, Wahab will replace Australia’s Nathan Coulter-Nile in Trent Rockets in the opening season of the league.

Wahab will join pacer Mohammad Amir as the second Pakistani to play in the league. Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi have shown their unavailability due to national duty. They both will travel to West Indies for T20Is and Tests.


The Hundred will kick off on July 21 this year followed by the final on August 21. The league was postponed last year due to prevailing COVID-19 across the world.
