Karachi Kings’ coach, Mickey Arthur is eyeing for a larger gain as he wants the team director of the franchise Wasim Akram to help fix Mohammad Amir’s wrist position, which will be favourable for the national team of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s head coach stated that he is looking forward to working with the legendary fast bowler, Wasim Akram during the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League.
“I want Wasim [Akram] to help us with the wrist position of Mohammad Amir,” said Arthur while talking to ARY News. “If he can do that, it will be a mouthwatering prospect.”
The South African further talked about continuing with Imad Wasim as the captain of Karachi Kings and praised him for the way he led the side in the previous edition of the league.
“Continuity of captaincy is so important, I think Imad Wasim is a good captain, he is a very good cricket and we know that, so I am looking forward to seeing him lead Karachi Kings to some success in the next season,” he added.
Arthur had all praise for the young Aussie pacer, Aaron Summers, which Karachi Kings pouched in the Gold category.
“He bowls at 150 km/h, he is incredibly athletic, very good in the field and hits a long ball,” he said. “He is not a surprise choice, because we had done our homework on him, but it is a pick that we hope will be the pick of the PSL.”
