KARACHI: Atif Aslam expressed his childhood love of playing cricket and said he always wanted to become a professional cricketer.
Speaking in a digital show named ‘AB Talks‘, Aslam shared that he has worked really hard to become a cricketer but his parents never realized his abilities.
“I was planning to become a professional cricketer; I was an athlete,” the singer shared. “I worked really hard at it but my parents took it as a hobby and didn’t know how good I was. That led to me giving up on cricket as I was skipping classes, catering to my interest in taking wickets,” he added.
It must be noted here that Aslam is one of the leading singers of Pakistan. He has worked in both India and Pakistan and has a huge fan following across the world.
