LAHORE: National team’s bowling coach and a prolific fast bowler of his time, Waqar Younis shared some tips and techniques of pace bowling with youngsters.
In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Younis shared some useful tips on gripping the ball, in-swing, and out-swing.
“To all those fast bowlers, my fans and followers who want to be best with it should work hard and remember a few things to become a good pacer,” he begins while praising Pakistan’s rich history in fast bowling.
“You have to concentrate on your bowling and keep practicing to become a good fast bowler. You will meet injuries and sometimes your performance wouldn’t be up to the mark but you have to continue working hard,” he added.
