Pakistan’s pacer Usman Khan Shinwari praised national team’s new bowling coach Waqar Younis and looking forward to gaining from his experience.
Shinwari, while talking to the media in Lahore, said that Younis is an experienced coach and will help the bowlers become competitive across all three formats.
“I am looking forward to working with Wiki Bhai following his vast experience. You can take advice from Wiki Bhai in all three formats,” he said.
Shinwari revealed that former bowling coach Azhar Mahmood was restricted to just T20Is. “Ajju Bhai helped us a lot in the shorter format of the game but Qiki Bhai is the coach of all formats,” he added.
The left-arm fast bowler aims the home series against Sri Lanka as he is one of the 20 probables who are taking part in the training camp at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore for the upcoming historic event.
“My aim is to perform against Sri Lanka. It is good to see cricket is returning to Pakistan. It is going to be a historic occasion and I am really excited to witness the moment,” he concluded.
