Karachi: Left-arm medium pace bowler Waqas Maqsood has replaced Karachi Kings’ all-rounder Aamer Yamin for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five.
The 29-year-old Aamer Yamin picked up a hamstring injury while bowling in Kings’ fixture against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday. He played three matches for Kings this season and picked three wickets.

The 32-year-old Waqas represented Islamabad United in the 2019 edition of PSL, in which he played two matches.
The replacement was approved by the event’s technical committee which includes Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan, Bazid Khan, Marina Iqbal, Sameer Khosa and Dr. Sohail Saleem.
