Warner shaves head to show support to medical staff, challenges Kohli, Smith to do so


Sydney: Australian opening batsman David Warner has opted for a new way to show his support towards paramedic staff who are currently at the frontline fighting against the COVID-19.

The 33-year-old wanted to show his appreciation for which he posted a video on Instagram. He also posted a photograph of his new haircut and wrote.

“Been nominated to shave my head in support of those working on the frontline of COVID-19 here is a time-lapse. I think my debut was the last time I recall I’ve done this. Like it or not.”

Warner further nominated Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Joe Burns, Marcus Stoinis and many others to accept the challenge and shave their heads to show the support.
