The league’s two brand ambassadors Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja will get minimal remuneration for their services said Najam sethi in a news conference here on Thursday.
Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja on Thursday formally signed their contracts for the PSL brand ambassador with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Najam Sethi, chairman of PCB’s executive committee and Head of PSL, said that Ramiz and Wasim were not ready to accept any remuneration but on our insistence they accepted honorarium which is nothing compared to the expertise they have.
“Both the players are keen to serve Pakistan cricket and their services cannot be price-tagged” added sethi.
Sources revealed that the amount of honorarium paid to Waseem Akram and Rameez Raja for the role of brand ambassadors is Rs. 500,000 per month.
