Rawalpindi: Batsman Abdullah Shafique is delighted to make his T20I debut for Pakistan in the third and final match of the series against Zimbabwe.
The 20-year-old in a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said he was waiting for the moment for this for quite some time.
“I am quite delighted. I’ve waited for this moment and today it is happening. Whoever starts playing cricket, he dreams to play for the national team,” Abdullah said.
He thanked captain Babar Azam and supporting staff for backing him throughout the tour as he has learned a lot in practice sessions.
