Karachi: Two batting legends of the cricketing world, Former Australian Ricky Ponting and West Indies captain Brian Lara are preparing in the nets for the bushfire cricket bash.
Ponting posted a video on Twitter where he and Lara can be seen hitting drives from the middle of the bat.

Australian legend is hoping that Lara will be the part of his team and will bat at number 4. “If I’m batting three on Sunday, hopefully, this guy (Brian Lara) is on my team and batting four,” he wrote.
The Bushfire Cricket Bash charity match will be played on February 9, Sunday at Melbourne’s Junction Oval as it was initially scheduled on February 8 at the SCG in Sydney but got shifted due to bad weather prediction.
Ponting and Australian wicket-keeper legend will be the captain of two respective teams. The match will be a T10 encounter.
Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, West Indian legends Brian Lara and Courtney Walsh, Pakistan left-arm legend Wasim Akram, and past Australian legends Justin Langer, Brett Lee, Andrew Symonds, Matthew Hayden, and Shane Watson will be the part of the cause too. Shane Warne will not be the part of the fixture due to his prior commitments.
