Quetta Gladiators’ flamboyant opening batsman, Shane Watson has recorded a video message for Pakistan Super League’s fans, where he formally announced that he is coming to Pakistan for the remaining of the PSL.
The two-time runner-ups looking favourite to finally lift the trophy this time around. Previously they were hurt by non-availability of their overseas players during their encounters in Pakistan.
Shane Watson has been the star performer for the Gladiators with the bat, being the top scorer of the ongoing edition of the PSL with 332 runs in nine matches, scoring at an average of 47.42.
The former Australian all-rounder said that he will travel Pakistan after a long span of 14 years. He further revealed that it was not an easy decision for him as he had to keep the consent of his family in view.
“It all worked out nicely and also the incredible support I have got from the Quetta Gladiators family,” he said. “It is always very difficult to be out of the league before the final, so I am very excited.”
Watson believes that Quetta Gladiators have got a great team this time and he would love to be with his team taking the final steps.
“I am sure everyone will turn out to support not just Quetta Gladiators, but the PSL, it is a great tournament and I cannot wait to get there,” he said. “Pakistan main arha hun [Pakistan I am coming].”

Quetta Gladiators have lost two matches, against Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, in the nine matches, they have played so far.
Quetta Gladiators will take on the home side, Karachi Kings on Sunday at the National Stadium Karachi, there is no doubt that the atmosphere during the game will be electrifying.
Earlier on Wednesday, manager of Quetta Gladiators, Azam Khan said that the team owner, Nadeem Omer has convinced the 37-year-old to visit the country to play the Pakistan leg of the PSL 4.
Karachi will host eight matches of the Pakistan Super League from March 9 to 17.
