Pakistan cricket team skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed wants his men to control their nerves in order to clinch the 14th edition of the Asia Cup.
Sarfraz in a video message shared on PCB’s official page said that they are not taking any team lightly and will try to compete strongly against their counterparts.
“Every team is here to win the tournament so taking anyone lightly will not be a positive thing for us,” Sarfraz said.
The wicket-keeper batsman, Sarfraz said that the conditions in the UAE would suit their team’s lineup but still they need to go out strongly.
“I know we have a grip on playing here in Dubai but still it is not an easy task for us,” he said.
The Champions Trophy winning captain said that the match against India has always created hype among the people of both the countries.
“I know everyone wants to see India and Pakistan playing each other,” Sarfraz stated.
The Pakistan cricket team is currently going through tough training sessions ahead of the crucial tournament beginning from Saturday.
Pakistan will start its campaign on September 16 taking on Hong Kong.
