NORTH SOUND: Hayley Matthews struck a century as West Indies women beat Pakistan women by eight wickets in third ODI to take an unbeatable lead of 3-0.
After winning the T20I series 3-0, West Indies outclassed the visitors with top-notch performance in first three games of the five-match series.
Matthews stood out in last outing for West Indies with his 100 runs knock laced with 11 boundaries. Britney Cooper supported her well and scored 45 off 69 deliveries with the help of three boundaries as West Indies chased 183 runs in 40.1 overs.
Earlier, Pakistan were bowled out for 182 courtesy to Chinelle Henry and Anisa Mohammad who took three wickets each for West Indies to restrict the visitors on a paltry total. Omaima Sohail scored his maiden ODI half-century and managed to make 62 runs at a strike rate of 78.48. Her inning included seven boundaries. Muneeba Ali scored 25 while Nida Dar scored 24.
Apart from Anisa and Henry, Matthews bagged two wickets while Shakera Selman and Karishma Ramharack shared a wicket apiece.
