West Indies women cricket team tour to Karachi is not only a historic moment for the National team but also for those budding women cricketers who want to pursue cricket as a profession.
This tour will pave the way for the revival of international cricket for women in Pakistan after men and will surely encourage other girls towards this sport.

“Being a cricketer, it is exciting for me to watch competitive cricket at our home ground,” she said.
Fatima thinks that such events will help them grow their confidence and they will also get immense opportunities to learn from international players.
“We will try to learn from their [West Indies] techniques while playing their first match tomorrow,” said Fatima who took part in a net session with visiting side.
Fatima, who dreams of playing in the National side, further said that she got so much to learn from players in the national side.
“Our national team players are cooperative and always pass their experience to young players,” she said.
