Karachi: 11 players, part of Pakistan’s T20I squad, will leave for home today from West Indies as the T20I series has been concluded.
These national cricketers will arrive in Pakistan at midnight between August 5 and 6.
The players returning home include Imad Wasim, Sohaib Maqsood, Mohammad Hafeez, Shadab Khan and Sharjeel Khan.
Fakhar Zaman, Azam Khan, Usman Qadir, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Arshad Iqbal are also among the players coming back to Pakistan.
The remaining members, including captain Babar Azam, wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan will start training with the Test squad.
It must be noted that only the second T20I was completed with Green Shirts winning it by seven runs while the first in Barbados, third and fourth T20I in Guyana were washouts.
Both teams will now take part in the two-match Test series, starting from August 12 at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
