GAWADAR: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s CEO, Wasim Khan said they will start development work at the Gawadar Cricket Stadium as soon as possible.

Speaking to ARY News, Khan said they will try to bring First-class cricket to this ground after quick development work.

“We aim to do some development work here including the installment of floodlights. We aim to conduct First-class cricket here. This is one of the most beautiful grounds in Pakistan,” he said.

Khan said they are also planning to conduct a festival match between two PSL franchises after this year’s season. “I have plans to organize a festival match between the two PSL franchises. If not this year, then next year we will make it happen,” he concluded.

It must be noted here that Gawadar Cricket Stadium’s pictures went viral on social media and attracted the entire cricket fraternity because of its location between the mountains.
