Former Pakistan’s skipper Misbah Ul Haq expressed his concern for the national team as Mohammad Hafeez got reported for suspicious bowling action for the third time in his career.
“Hafeez is an effective weapon with the ball for Pakistan and I wish he stays out of problems as he is an important part of the team,” Misbah said while addressing media on Thursday.
Moreover, he hailed the batting effort of Inzamam Ul Haq’s nephew, Imam Ul Haq who scored an inspiring century on his debut against Sri Lanka whose selection was heavily criticized.
“He made it to the senior team with experience at the junior and first-class levels and I hope he goes on to enjoy a long career for Pakistan,” he said.
Misbah seems satisfied with the current form of the ODI team.
“Pakistan’s confidence following their Champions Trophy is reflecting against Sri Lanka,” said the Mianwali-born legend.
