‘Wish to host PSL matches at Gwadar stadium’ Balochistan govt spokesperson

Karachi: Balochistan government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani has expressed to host the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) season six matches at the picturesque Gwadar Cricket Stadium.

Gwadar’s cricket stadium was all over the internet after singer-cum-cricket presenter Fakhr-e-Alam posted the pictures on his Twitter account.

“We wish to host national, international tournaments here. PSL is popular in the country and a friendly match will also be a great step,” Shahwani said in ARY News’ morning show ‘Bakhabar Savera’

Shahwani revealed that besides this ground, many others like these are under pipeline and have been completed in Balochistan province.

“In the future, you will witness many of these grounds in Balochistan. We are planning to develop Gwadar stadium as if foreign teams are touring, the standards are of international level,” he added.
